- Who can participate in Offline 16: Pickleball Challenge?
This event is open to everyone aged 12 and above, whether you’re a beginner or a pro at pickleball! Participants below 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to join the fun.
2. Is there any registration fee?
Yes, the registration fee is RM39.90 per person, which includes access to all activities, an event kit, refreshments, and a fun-filled experience!
3. How long are the offline hours?
The offline hours last for 4 hours, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During this time, all digital devices must remain sealed in the provided pouch.
4. Can I use my phone outside of the offline hours?
Yes, you may use your phone before 10:30 a.m. and after 2:30 p.m. However, during the offline hours (10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), all digital devices must remain sealed in the provided pouch.
5. What time do I need to arrive at the event?
Please arrive by 9:30 a.m. for registration, event kit collection, and to change into your event T-shirt. Breakfast will be served from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m., so come early and fuel up before the activities begin!
6. If I arrive late or need to leave earlier, can I still participate?
While you are welcome to join, we highly recommend adhering to the event schedule for the full experience. Please note that late arrivals or early departures within offline hours will not qualify for finisher entitlements, including the badge and e-certificate.
7. Do I need to do a COVID-19 test before attending the event?
While not mandatory, we encourage all participants to conduct a self-test before the event for the safety of themselves and others.
8. What do I need to present to collect my event kit?
To collect your event kit, please present your e-ticket at the registration desk. You can present it digitally on your phone—no printout needed.
9. What’s included in the event kit?
Upon registration, you’ll receive an event T-shirt, a canvas bag, a wristband, a passbook, a secure phone pouch, and exciting goodies to kickstart your Offline 16 experience!
10. What should I wear during the event?
We recommend wearing the event T-shirt to be part of the team spirit! For safety and comfort, please wear comfortable long pants and court shoes to move freely and enjoy the activities!
11. What is the event passbook for?
The event passbook allows you to collect stamps by participating in activities throughout the event. Get five stamps, and you’ll qualify for a chance to enter our lucky draw, so don’t miss out on the fun!
12. What if I misplaced my event passbook?
No worries! You can request a new passbook, but you’ll need to participate in the activities again to collect your stamps and qualify for the lucky draw.
13. Is there a baggage deposit area on the event day?
No, there will not be a baggage deposit area available. Participants are responsible for their own belongings. We recommend bringing only essential items and keeping them with you at all times.
14. Do I need to bring anything with me on the event day?
Yes! Please present your e-ticket for entry. We also recommend bringing a towel and an extra shirt for your comfort. If you plan to make purchases, bring cash or a credit card as well.
15. Do I need to bring my own paddles and balls?
You may bring your own if you prefer. If you don’t have them, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered with paddles and balls provided at the event!
16. Can I bring my phone or any other digital gadgets to the event?
Yes, you are allowed to bring your phone, but it must be kept inside the sealed pouch provided at registration. Smartwatches, tablets, laptops, game consoles, and any other digital gadgets are not permitted at the event to ensure an offline, distraction-free environment. However, you are welcome to bring any type of camera to capture memories.
17. Do I need to turn off and surrender my phone at the event?
No, you don’t need to turn off your phone, but you must disable data and WiFi on all digital devices. Phones and gadgets must be placed in the sealed pouch provided at registration and kept with you throughout the event. Please refrain from making or answering calls during the event. Participants are responsible for keeping their own gadgets throughout the event.
18. What if I need to use my phone during the event?
If you need to use your phone during the event, please inform the event crew at the registration desk to unseal your phone pouch. However, please note that this will result in disqualification from the event, and you will not receive your finisher entitlements. After use, your phone must be resealed to continue participation.
19. Can I use my phone to take photos during the event?
No, your phone will be sealed in a pouch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the Pickleball Challenge to ensure a fully immersive experience. Focus on the game, connect with others, and enjoy the moment! Don’t worry—our official photographers will be capturing the best moments throughout the event. After the event, you’ll be able to download professional photos from a cloud server. We’ll share instructions on how to access them closer to the event date.
20. Can I unseal the phone pouch on my own?
No, you are not allowed to unseal the phone pouch on your own. If you are caught unsealing or using a phone or any other digital device during the event without notifying the event crew, you will be asked to reseal the device immediately. Additionally, you will be disqualified from the event and will not receive your finisher entitlements.
21. What should I do if I am injured during the event?
Please notify the nearest marshals or medical responders immediately for necessary medical attention.
22. Do I need to purchase insurance?
All participants are covered with insurance provided by the event organisers.
23. Are refreshments provided?
Yes, breakfast and lunch will be provided. If you have any dietary restrictions or special requests, please inform us during sign-up so we can accommodate your needs. Plus, food trucks will be on-site if you’d like to purchase additional snacks or meals!
24. Can I bring or order outside food to the venue?
No outside food is allowed at the event.
25. Do I need to stay at the venue throughout the event and join all activities?
Yes, you must stay at the venue for the entire event duration. While you can choose which activities to join, you must complete at least 5 activities and remain offline during the designated offline hours to qualify for finisher entitlements.
26. What can I do if I do not join the activities?
No worries! You can explore health tests, visit sponsor booths, or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere. Feel free to cheer for the players and enjoy the event at your own pace!
27. Can I take a break and rest at the event?
Absolutely! If you need to rest, feel free to take a break. Your well-being comes first!
28. Do I still receive my finisher entitlements if I do not complete my offline hours?
Finisher entitlements, including the badge and e-certificate, are reserved for registered participants who have completed the required offline hours and a minimum of 5 activities. The finisher badge can be collected at the conclusion of the event at the registration desk. The e-certificate will be sent to your registered email address within 14 working days.
29. How do I qualify for a lucky draw?
To qualify for the lucky draw, collect 5 stamps on your event passbook by participating in different event activities.
30. What if someone needs to look for me during the event?

31. Is a prayer room available?
Yes, there is a prayer room provided specifically for Muslim attendees to accommodate their religious needs.

Rules and Regulations for “Offline 16: Pickleball Challenge” Event
The following are the rules and regulations (“Rules and Regulations”) for the event of Offline 16 (“Event“), co-organised by VitaHealth Malaysia Sdn Bhd (200001031874 (534481-V)) (“VitaHealth”) and Tropicana Privilege (M) Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202101043460 (1443760-P)) (collectively referred to as “Organiser(s)”). Participant(s) declares and acknowledges to have read, understood and agreed to these Rules and Regulations and undertakes to comply with and be bound by the same and, where applicable, in the case of a Participant(s) below the age of 18 years old, the Participant(s)’ parent, guardian or legal representative) has to declare and acknowledge on his/her behalf to have read, understood and agreed to these Rules and Regulations and undertakes to comply with and be bound by the same.
Date of Event
The Event will be held on 4 May 2024 (“Date”) at GOAT Pickle Club, Jelutong, Pulau Pinang (“Venue”). The Organiser(s) reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Event at any time without giving any notice.
Eligibility
- 1. The Event is open to participant(s) aged 12 years old and above (“Participant(s)”). Participant(s) agree to participate in the Event at his or her own free will. Participants below the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The participation fee is RM39.90 per person (“Participation Fee”).
2. The Participant(s) has met all the eligibility criteria and has the right, authority and power to enter the Event in accordance with these Rules and Regulations and shall provide such proof as the Organiser(s) requires.
3. The Organiser(s) reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any person in relation to the Event.
Personal Data Processing Statement Relating to Participant(s) In Accordance with Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 (“PDPA”) And Publicity
1. By signing up for and providing any information, personal or otherwise, in order to gain access to participate in the Event or any activity(ies) relating to the Event or involving the Organiser(s), the Participant(s) is deemed to have agreed/ given express permission to the following:
1. Authorisation to the Organiser, their agent(s) and/or contractor(s) to collect, process, organise and retain personal data relating to the Participant(s) in accordance with PDPA.
2. The personal data of the Participant(s) shall be used by the Organiser(s) for the purposes of:
- Marketing – sending communication materials to the Participant(s), including but not limited to, direct mailers, emails, short messaging service, WhatsApp and/or telephone calls; and
- Statistical analysis for planning and improvement of the Event.
2. The Organiser(s) may engage the services of third parties to process the Participant(s)’ personal data as well as the production of essential items required for the smooth operation of the Event in or outside of Malaysia. For such purposes, Participant(s) shall be deemed to have given his/ her consent to the transfer of all or any personal data to any such third party’s location in or outside of Malaysia. All such third parties are contractually obliged not to use the Participant(s)’ personal data for any other purpose, other than as specified herein
3.The Participant(s) shall be deemed to have withdrawn from participating in the Event if he/ she withdraws his/ her consent or authorisation given at any time before the Event starts by sending an official written email to marketing@vitalifesciences.com.my.
- The Organiser(s) will take reasonable precautions to keep the Participant(s)’ Personal Data secured and similarly ensure any third-party data processors to do the same.
- The Organiser(s) may disclose or release the Participant(s)’ Personal Data, if the Organiser(s) reasonably believes that it is necessary, desirable or required to do so by applicable law or governmental regulation or by any competent body or authority, or by legal process, or to respond to any claim, or to protect the rights, interest or property of the Organiser(s) or others.
General
1. The Organiser(s) reserves the right to change the Date and/ or Venue or to postpone or cancel the Event for any reason whatsoever including force majeure (i.e. due to the occurrence of any incident, condition or event that is beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser(s) and which, in the Organiser(s)’ opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event such as haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism, pandemics, outbreaks, or other conditions) at any time without prior notice to the Participant(s), in which case the Organiser(s) will make effort to inform the Participant(s) before the Date.
2. If the Event must be postponed or cancelled for the reason of force majeure, no refund of fees will be provided, and the Organiser(s) shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused. Participant(s) acknowledges and agrees that the Participation Fee and any other transaction costs of the Event are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-deferrable.
3. The Organiser(s) reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these Rules and Regulations, Privacy Policy or any other terms and conditions of the Event from time to time and at any time as they deem fit without giving any notice to the Participant(s). If there is an ambiguity in any of these Rules and Regulations, the Organiser(s) shall have the authority to interpret and in so doing, the Organiser(s) will take into account the interests of all parties involved. The decision of the Organiser(s) shall be final and binding, no correspondence shall be entertained. Any updates, modifications or changes to these Rules and Regulations, Privacy Policy or any other terms and conditions of the Event will be notified on the Official Website of the Event at www.vitahealth.com.my/offline-16-penang and (unless otherwise stated) will be effective from the date of notification on the Official Website.
4. Participant(s) agrees to accept promotional materials/ items from the Organiser(s) whether in relation to the Event or otherwise.
5. The Organisers reserve the right to use any photographs (including those players), motion picture recordings, or any media records of the event, for any legimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors anywhere in the world.
General Pickleball Game Rules
1. USA Pickleball Official Rulebook 2025 will be adopted for the challenge: https://usapickleball.org/what-is-pickleball/official-rules/ swp.solemas.com (“Official Registration Website”).
2. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel an event with insufficient entries or merge groups to make the event viable.
3. The Organisers and General Assembly have the right to adjust the game time and venue, and the players shall not disagree.
4. Players are recommended to wear the event T-shirt and comfortable covered shoes.
5. Players may bring their own pickleball paddle to join the challenge.
6. Digital gadgets (mobile phones, ipad, tablets) will be kept inside a sealed pouch provided to ensure an offline, distraction-free environment. However, players are welcome to bring camera to capture memories.
7. All decisions made by the Organisers and Referee are FINAL. No protest or appeal will be entertained.
8. The Organisers/Referee/Umpire has the absolute right to require players to present his or her original NRIC upon request.
9. The Organisers will not be responsible nor held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for, during or after participation in the Tournament.
Event Registration
1. Participant(s) is required to register via online registration at swp.solemas.com (“Official Registration Website”).
2. Participant(s) shall provide true, accurate, current and complete information. VitaHealth may contact the Participant(s) from time to time by email and WhatsApp. Any notice sent to the email address and WhatsApp registered with the Organiser(s) shall be deemed as received by the Participant(s).
3. The registered name of the players should strictly follow as is stated in the player’s National Registration Identity Card (NRIC). The Organisers reserve the right to accept or reject names different from that in the NRIC. There will be no refund in such cases.
4. If the Participant(s) provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, or if the Organiser(s) have ground to believe that such information is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, the Organiser(s) may at any time suspend, revoke, cancel or terminate the Participant(s)’ registration for the Event or disqualify any person from participating in the Event without providing any reason and refuse the Participant(s)’ current or future use of the Event’s Official Website (or any parts thereof).
5. The Organiser(s) will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form. No refunds will be made for incorrect or multiple registration.
6. Participant(s) are strictly not allowed to transfer their Event entry to another party after his/ her registration is confirmed.
7. Dummy entries or entries indicating “and partner” will not be accepted.
8. Registration form submitted without payment shall be rejected. (Kindly write down name according to player’s NRIC and event to be contested in the remark).
9. The Event’s registration will be completed once the Participant(s) reaches the final step of the registration process. A notification will be displayed on the registration portal upon successful registration. If the Participant(s) does not receive this notification or encounters any issues, they may report such discrepancies to marketing@vitalifesciences.com.my within five (5) working days from the registration date.
10. Once the Participant(s)’ registration has been duly processed, there will be no refund of fees to Participants who wish to withdraw their participation for whatever reason.
11. Registration will be closed on 30 April 2024, or upon reaching the maximum of 64 Participant(s), whichever is earlier.
Event Kits
1. Event kit consists of an Event T-shirt, a canvas bag, a wristband, a passbook, a phone pouch and goodies.
2. Event T-shirt sizes availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. All T-shirt measurements are subject to a tolerance of 1-2 cm.
4. All Event kits must be collected on the day of Event at 9:30 a.m., before the Event starts.
5. The colours, designs and materials of the merchandise are for illustration purposes. The images of the products may differ from the actual merchandise and are subject to change without notice.
5. Event kits not collected on the stipulated collection date will be deemed unwanted and the Organiser(s) shall have the right to dispose or redistribute them accordingly.
Event Participation
1. All Participant(s) must present a valid e-ticket upon entry. Failure to present a valid e-ticket may result in denied entry.
2. The Organiser(s) reserves the right to limit and/ or refuse entry of any Participant(s) to the Event without giving any reason or notice. The Organiser(s) also reserves the right at its absolute discretion to exclude or disqualify any Participant(s) whom the Organiser(s) opines to be acting in a manner which is against the interest of the Organiser(s) or the Event or which is in violation of these Rules and Regulations or any terms and conditions of the Event or in case of (suspicion of) foul play or fraud. It is the duty and responsibility of the Participant(s) to ensure his/ her legal eligibility to participate in the Event.
3. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser(s) to ensure the Participant(s)’ safety, the Participant(s) participates in the Event at their own risk. The Organiser(s) will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death, damage or loss of property, whether personal or otherwise, suffered or caused by the Participant(s), arising from during participation, or after participation in the Event. Participant(s) are strongly advised to go for a medical examination and/ or consult their medical practitioner before registration and before the Date of the Event.
4. By attending the Event, Participant(s) agree to adhere to the following qualifying criteria:
- Participant(s) must turn off data and WiFi on his/ her phones or any other digital gadgets to remain offline for 4 hours from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Participant(s) must place his/ her phones and any other digital gadgets in the provided sealed pouch, refrain from making or answering any calls, and keep themselves to be at the Venue for the entire Event.
- Participant(s) is responsible for managing and safeguarding his/ her own belongings throughout the Event.
- In case of an emergency or if requested by the Participant(s) to use his/ her phone and/ or digital gadgets, Organiser(s) will unseal the pouch for use. However, the Participant(s) will be deemed disqualified.
5. Participant(s) accepts and agrees to hold the Organiser(s) harmless from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss incurred during the Event.
Participant(s) warrants that he/ she is in good physical condition, has sufficient preparations and can safely participate in the Event. The Participant(s) is fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in participating in the Event, including the possibilities of serious physical trauma, injury or death.
6. It is the responsibility of the Participant(s) to advise the Organiser(s) before the start of the Event of any pre-existing medical condition, disability, relevant medications being taken and allergies that may be relevant in the administration of any medical assistance, or in the ability of the Participant(s) to take part in the Event.
7. Should any Participant(s) feel fatigued, restless, or have an injury at any time during or before the session, they must immediately inform the medical staff/ safety marshal and refrain from joining the session.
Participant(s) must retire from the session immediately, if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff/ safety marshal.
8. The Organiser(s) is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorised access to, or alteration of user communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or traffic congestion on the internet and/ or the Event’s Official Website.
9. The Organiser(s) reserves the right to remove anyone who is disruptive or poses a threat to the safety of others.
10. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs, images, motion pictures, recordings, and/ or any other media records of the Event (including those of the Participant(s) and his/ her name and other information without any compensation or payment or any prior notice), for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution by the Organiser(s) in any form of media or medium and for such duration as the Organiser(s) deems fit whether within Malaysia or elsewhere.
11. Participant(s) are advised to wear the Event T-shirt during the Event.
Finisher Entitlement
1. Finisher badges and e-certificates will only be given to Participant(s) who fulfil the qualifying criteria throughout the entire Event duration.
2. All disputes will be resolved according to the Organiser(s) final decision, and no further disputes will be considered thereafter. No correspondence shall be entertained.
3. Finisher badges will be available for redemption at a designated area at the conclusion of the Event. No claims will be entertained thereafter.
4. E-Certificate will be made available within fourteen (14) working days from the Event’s day for Participant(s) to download.
Assumption of Risks, Waiver & Release of Liability
1. Participant(s) accepts and agrees that (a) the Event carries certain inherent dangers and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation to personal injury, damage to property or death; and (b) his/ her participation in the Event is voluntarily in spite of the potential risks and danger.
2. Participant(s) warrants that he/ she is in good physical condition and have sufficient preparations and is able to safely participate in the Event. The

Participant(s) is fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in participating in the Event, including the possibilities of serious physical trauma, injury or death.It is the responsibility of the Participant(s) to advise the Organiser(s) prior to the start of the Event of any pre-existing medical condition, disability, relevant medications being taken and allergies that may be relevant in the administration of any medical assistance, or in your ability to take part in the event.
4. In consideration of the Organiser(s) allowing or accepting (without liability) the Participant(s) to participate in any way in the Event and/ or activities registered through the Official Website, the Participant(s) (which includes his/her heirs, personal representatives, executors and administrators), shall be deemed to have agreed as follows:
- accept and assume all of the risks and dangers and any potential risks and dangers in connection with the Participant(s) participation in the Event;
- to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, none of the Organiser(s), online registration company, sub-contractors, all municipal agencies and relevant authority whose property or personnel are used, all sponsors, co-sponsors and other companies, parties and individuals related to the Event, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers, related corporations, subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Releasees”) shall be responsible or liable in any manner for any costs, expenses, loss, damages, liabilities, injury or death caused by the Participant(s)’ participation in the Event and each Participant(s) agrees to indemnify and hold the Releasees harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by the Releasees in relation to the Event;
- fully and forever releases the Releasees from all and any liability of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising, INCLUDING ANY NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATION and any other form of negligence and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by applicable laws in Malaysia in which the Event is conducted;
- waives and relinquishes the right to sue or take any action or proceeding against the Releasees (or any of them) for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages of the Participant(s) on account of any injury, death, damage to property or any other cause of action, which is caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence, fault, act or omission of the Releasees (or any of them) or otherwise.
5. The decision of the Organiser(s) on all and any matter in connection with the Event shall be final and binding.
6. If any provision (or any part thereof) of the Rules and Regulations or any terms and conditions of the Event is held by a competent court or other competent authority in a final decision (namely, after exhausting all appeal avenues if applicable) to be illegal, void or unenforceable in the relevant jurisdiction, that provision or the relevant part thereof shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect in respect of such jurisdiction.
7. A failure or delay by Organiser(s) in exercising, or in omitting to exercise, any right, remedy, power or privilege accruing to the Organiser(s) hereunder, or the knowledge or acquiescence by the Organiser(s) of or in any breach of any of these Rules and Regulations, shall not impair or operate or be construed as a waiver of such right, remedy, power or privilege or an acquiescence in such breach or a waiver of such Rules and Regulations to such the Participant(s). No waiver shall be binding on the Organiser(s) unless it is made in writing. No waiver by the Organiser(s) of a breach of any Rules and Regulations shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other Rules and Regulations.
8. These Rules and Regulations shall be binding on the heirs, personal representatives, executors and administrators and permitted assigns of the Participant(s).
9. The Rules and Regulations and all documents concerning the Event shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. By registering for the Event, the Participant(s) shall be deemed to have agreed to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
10. By registering and submitting the entry form, I/We, the participants hereby agreed to abide by the rules and conditions of the tournament. I/We certify that all the above particulars are correct. I/We am/are entering the competitions at my/our own risk and shall not hold the organizer or those connected to the organizer responsible for any damages to or loss of such person’s property.
