VitaHealth, a leading supplement brand, hosted the ‘Clean Up, Charge Up!’ beach cleanup in partnership with Big Pharmacy, Caring Pharmacy, and Cuci Malaysia. The event took place at Bagan Lalang, showcasing a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. Malaysia’s national badminton player and VitaHealth brand ambassador, Pearly Tan, made a special appearance, further inspiring participants.

Dr. KS Beh, Country Head of Vita Life Sciences (Malaysia & Singapore), stated, “The ‘Clean Up, Charge Up!’ event aligns perfectly with VitaHealth’s ESG goals. Celebrating our 77th anniversary, we are deeply committed to reducing waste, minimising our carbon footprint, and fostering sustainable practices.” The event aimed to protect marine habitats by removing litter, promote recycling and proper waste management, and increase public awareness about environmental conservation.
The event brought together a remarkable group of volunteers, from local community members to VitaHealth employees, all united in a shared mission to clean up the beach. The collaborative effort showcased the power of community action in environmental conservation and left a tangible impact on the local ecosystem. We collected a total of 203kg of waste, consisting of 166.7kg of trash and 36.3kg of recyclables. Cuci Malaysia conducted informative sessions on sustainable living, focusing on practical tips for reducing personal carbon footprints and the benefits of using eco-friendly products.
Pearly Tan shared her thoughts on the event, stating, “It was inspiring to see so many people come together for such an important cause. Keeping our environment clean is everyone’s responsibility, and I’m honoured to have been part of this impactful initiative.”
